Pain - Original Writing :: Papers
Pain - Original Writing Her eyes became watery as she dragged the razor blade across her arm, the pain invaded her body. She sat back against the wall, her arm rested on her leg. The blood poured out, her eyes clinged on the ceiling. She sighed, her eyes were red and her soul was empty. She could here their laughter, their fingers pointing at her as her tray slipped from her hands and made a mess on the cafeteria floor. "You are such a dopey idiot" they shouted from the queue, she glanced up to find them all looking at her as if they were in a freak show and she was the principal act. A lady from behind the counter came out with a mop and bucket and told her to clean up the mess, she felt humiliated and stupid. "Quiet everyone", suddenly the director came into the cafeteria, everybody went back to there seats and continued with there meal. The director walked up to Layla, she could see his shinny black shoes. His laces were perfectly done and his trousers were perfectly ironed and tucked in at the end of his leg, the man reeked of perfection. "What's going on here" he said, his voice sounded firm and scary. Layla continued picking up the food splattered on the floor while she mumbled "nothing sir, just an à ¢Ã¢â ¬Ã ¦.". "Look at me when I'm speaking to you", he shouted as he grabbed her arm and pulled her up. She looked up at his smooth shaved face, her eyes were full of tears. Her lips trembled "just an accident, sir" she said nervously. "I don't want cry babies here, clean up your act girl", he said still pinning on to her arm. She nodded her head and got back on her knees to finish cleaning up. "Nobody give this girl any food, I repeat, nobody or there will be detention", the director looked around the cafeteria "And I mean nobody" and pointed at the kitchen staff. He then took a last look at Layla who was still on her knees and walked away with his hands on his

Eat2Eat Strategy

Perform a SWOT analysis for Eat2Eat. 4. What role have strategic alliances played in Eat2Eat's success ? What types of partners are most valuable to Eat2Eat ?Which partners does Eat2Eat have the greatest potential to benefit ? Which partnerships should Eat2Eat focus on forming in the immediate future ? 5. Provide recommendations concerning Eat2Eat's future strategy. 1. What are the key success factors for competing in the online restaurant booking industry? * Quality of restaurants contracted * A large network of restaurants in strategic places * Good interface with relevant criteria (Place, time, ambiance, cuisine price, rating, â⬠¦) * Clever communication * Favorable reputation * Good knowledge of the market Ability to respond quickly to shifting market conditions * Technical capability to make innovative improvements * Fast, accurate, technical assistance * Superior information system * Access to financial capital 2. What are the fundamental aspects of Eat2Eat's strategy? Which of the 5 generic strategies do you believe Eat2Eat is pursuing? Has the strategy evolved since the company's conception? First letââ¬â¢s say that Eat2Eat. com is an internet based restaurant portal, promoting fine dining in Asia pacific region, through twelve cities. The website is a guide to the regionââ¬â¢s best restaurants with an online reservation service. The founder of this website believed that there was a value proposition in connecting dinners both corporate and personal with restaurants, with the help of a highly automatic process like the airline bookings, hotel reservations or car rentals. He also believed tha t restaurants could benefit by having a presence on the internet. And we think it is important to precise also that the revenue generated by Eat2Eat is different from other restaurants portal on the internet. 0% of their total revenue came from their commissions on the restaurants (between 7% to 10% of the customerââ¬â¢s bill); 20% of the company total revenue are from banner advertising on the website, and the last 40% came from the preferred arrangements between credit cards companies and restaurants. Whereas most of other portals derive revenues from advertising alone. Therefore one of the major customers for Eat2Eat remains the restaurantsââ¬â¢ owners (through the commission and the advertisements), Eat2Eat signed them up as suppliers, but also there canââ¬â¢t be any commission without any bookings. Corporate strategy Looking at Eat2Eat present corporate strategy, it is following a growth strategy and more specifically an internal growth. Eat2Eat strategy is to capitali se on its core competencies, expanding its existing resources. We have the example in the case when the company wants to increase its geographic coverage, launching in Kyoto, Melbourne and Phuket. We can also add that this choice of strategy follows Aggarwalââ¬â¢s desire to conserve full ownership and control on his company. * Generic strategyThe reason why we think Eat2Eat is following a broad differentiation strategy is the augmented services and their high quality. First, letââ¬â¢s say that comparing to other websites Eat2Eat is offering a wealth of supporting information, these extra features include: restaurants reviews, recipes, interviews with leading chief and list of tops establishments in various categories. To propose this service in a more convenient way, the restaurant can be search according to various criteria including location, ambiance and accessibility for disabled diners, smoking preference, cuisine, price range, quality rating and hotel affiliation. The lau nch of the content and the booking function through the WAP system improved also the accessibility of the service for the user. * Leader offensive strategy Eat2Eat can be considered as a leader because comparing to the other Asian pacific portals which are only city specific, Eat2Eat. com is offering regional coverage. Google and Yahoo! , search engines consistently ranked Eat2Eat. com first in search results for Asian restaurant reviews and reservations. And also the Smart Diners Organisation in the United-States has rated Eat2Eat. om as the top restaurant information and reservation site in the world. * A transnational strategy Because Eat2Eat is dealing with cross-country variations in buyer preferences and market conditions, it is very important to notice the differences between those markets (as market observations in exhibit 4) . Eat2Eat employed a combination of global local strategy. Eat2Eat has the same basic competitive strategy in all country market, but it is also able t o develop the capability to customise service offerings in different countries. To illustrate this point, the launch of equivalent sites in Japanese and Korean to cover the restaurants in Tokyo and Seoul is an example of this ââ¬Å"think global, act localâ⬠strategy. Focusing on Tokyo again, another example could highlight this strategy: when Japanese corporations were reluctant to encourage their employee to sign up for the service and also because many first-tier restaurants in Japan had their own website but not the technology to support on-line reservations, Eat2Eat. com enabled the reservation for the restaurantsââ¬â¢ website. This is clearly an example of a small adjustment for a specific market. Has the strategy evolved since the company conception? In a way, we could say, yes the strategy evolved, because first Eat2Eat was focusing its promotional efforts on corporate customers. It seems at the beginning the best way to reach customers, and this strategy worked well because both the corporation and Eat2Eat were wining (except in Japan as we observed previously, and the cultural adjustment were the first step to an increase in personal dinners booking in Tokyo). The strategy evolution from corporate customers to individual customers probably occurred with the success of the adaptation of Eat2Eat. om for mobile phones for Japanese and Korean customers. In order to reach its potential, Eat2Eat had to do all it can to increase the customer base in the personal market. The partnership with The Asian Wall Street Journal seemed the best way to reach the customer base. And even if the Eat! had little immediate impact on Eat2Eat. com reservations and revenue, it allowed the company to expand its restaurant base in current cities and established the business in new cities. With the same idea to reach more individual customers, Aggarwal thought of an agreement with credit card companies. We can also add that due to the lack of time and resources it may app ear now to Aggarwalââ¬â¢s mind, that an external strategic alliances might be taken into consideration and may be the best way to improve Eat2Eat efficiency. 3. Perform a SWOT Analysis. * * Strengths * Highly rated Eat2Eat. com was the most highly rated Internet based restaurant reservation service covering major cities in the Asia Pacific region. * Airline booking The airline booking is highly automated process. * 12. 000 customers After only five years of operations, the company already has 12. 00 customers from differents countries. Eat2Eat. com covered 823 restaurants in Bangkok, Hong Kong etc. * Team members Vikram Aggarwal hired 1 chief officer, 1 programmer, 2 other people in order to help with the workload. It was a little company, with competent personal and easy to manage. Moreover, the personnel costs should not be high. * Revenues The company makes 40% of total revenues with 7-10% of bill's customer. Then, in 2005, advertisements on the website contributed an addition al 20% of the revenues. * Recognition The company had received considerable recognition.A poll taken by the Smart Diners Organization in the United Staes had rated the company as the top restaurant information and reservation site the world. Moreover, Google and Yahoo ranked Eat2Eat. com first in search results for Asian restaurant reviews and reservations. * On mobile phone In 2004, the company was adapted to make its content and booking function accessible on mobile phones. This added accessibility would significantly extend the company's reach and utilization, considering the high penetrationof mobile phone in the region. * Weaknesses * Enable on certain cities The service became popular but lagged elsewhere. The service had not found greater acceptance in cities like Hong-Kong or Singapore. * Approach customers Vikram Aggarwal approached himself their customers but this technique is much too long. May be he can ask to professionals to make it A SA PLACE. * No time As we have just said before, Vikram Aggarwal had no time to convince all partners. * Second-tier restaurants Eat2Eat. com dealt exclusively for first-tier restaurants, there were moderately expensive or very popular and busy. Because second-tier restaurants did not accpet reservations and therefore were of no to Aggarwal. Resources The company did not have the employees or finanacial resources needed to pursue such a vast market. * Opportunities * Third party The company engaged in another complementary business : negotiated arrangment between credit card companies and restaurants for the benefit of credit card holder This third-party negotiations contributed the remaining 40% of revenues. And a partnership with a single credit card company might expose Eat2Eat. com to millions of new customers. * Discounts He negotiated discounts for corporate customers and commissions for Eat2Eat. Easy to access The website was an easy to access for secretaries and personal assistants. * Corporations Aggarwal fo cused his promotional efforts on corporate customers. Because he thought personal diners were too numerous and consequently, too dificult and expensive to reach. So, this approach would bring more value for Aggarwal efforts and would be the best way to reach customers. Roughly 80% of the companies he approached endorsed the program. * Partners Aggarwal wanted to find partners as hotels, local or regional newspapers and airlines companies. * Investment 0% of the new capital would be spent on public relationss and marketing activites to reach the personal dining market segmetn. And 10% would be spent on a technology upgrade. Only if the company raise $2 million in additional capital. * Threats * Equivalent sites There were other restaurants portals on the Internet, covering Adia Pacific and other regions but Eat2Eat. com was different, in fact the company offered regional coverage compare to competitors which derived revenue from advertising alone. * Languages The original website app eared in English. * Bank LoanEat2Eat had not yet established a profitable track record, so, it would be difficult to obtain bank loan. * Cost of maintenance The cost of maintenance of a website can be more and more expensive * Conclusion The situation of the company is quite good because the company is the most highly rated Internet based restaurant reservation service, and they have a real recognition. Moreover, they can find some partners to improve their service. Perhaps Vikram Aggawal has to be careful about potential new entrants, their resources and he has to find some solutions about his investment to improve his strategy. . What role have strategic alliances played in Eat2Eat's success? What types of partners are most valuable to Eat2Eat? Which partners does Eat2Eat have the greatest potential to benefit? Which partnerships should Eat2Eat focus on forming in the immediate future? * What role have strategic alliances played in Eat2Eat's success? First of all, strategic allian ces are short or long-term partnerships of two or more firms working on a specific project or cooperating in a specific business area. Those alliances can be in form of joint ventures, franchises or licensing agreements, which are the main alliances.Actually, Eat2Eat has made several strategic alliances. First, the core alliances, on which the business model is based, are the alliances made with each restaurant. Indeed, Eat2Eat brings customers to the restaurants and those latters pay a commission to Eat2Eat. Thus, this first type of alliance has played a key role on the revenue of Eat2Eat. Then, the second alliance was one with a regional newspaper : The Asian Wall Street Journal. In the long-run, it had a tremendous impact on Eat2Eat revenue. In addition, the number of the website users increased thanks to the Eat! romotion put in the well-known criticsââ¬â¢ pages. Now, Eat2Eat needs a new strategic alliance. Indeed, the issue that Eat2Eat faces is to find a way to get an incre ase in the capital of the company : exactly, US$2 million more than actually. * What types of partners are most valuable to Eat2Eat? One of the most valuable partners would be an Internet company such as Yahoo. Indeed, it would provide the recognition needed for the growth of Eat2Eat. In addition, another valuable partner could be credit card companies. This alliance would allow Eat2Eat to get access to larges customerââ¬â¢s databases. That would have a great impact on the number of the website users. Even if it takes time to create a relationship, those types of companies would have a serious and positive impact on the Eat2Eat success. Then, given that no Internet company was interested in Eat2Eat, they had to think about potential venture. There were two possible types of ventures : venture with capital firms and one with entrepreneurial companies. In the first venture, the companies expect a return around 30% within 5 years, but with a minimum investment whereas in the second o ne, they only want to maximize their profit. Therefore, the most valuable partner between the two options above is the last one : the venture with entrepreneurial companies. Indeed, the main reason is that they have the same business expectation on the investment than Eat2Eat. Furthermore, this latter wants to do a venture with only entrepreneurial companies which cover the entire Asian region. * Which partners does Eat2Eat have the greatest potential to benefit ? Eat2Eat will probably make several partnerships. In fact, Eat2Eat knew that, in order to increase its success, they will need to do some partnerships with firms in other businesses. As an example, Eat2Eat wanted to work with firms such as hotels chains or airlines companies. However, they can continue working with other companies in the sector as themselves. In other words, it could be some other websites, but which cover only limited areas. In addition, we think that Eat2Eat will undoubtedly benefit from local Asian restaur ant website partners. Even if the Asian website partners cover a limited area, they are already implanted in a specific town. * Which partnership should Eat2Eat focus on forming in the immediate future? The current problem of Eat2Eat company is to get recognition. Indeed, this lack of recognition is a crucial issue for the company at the time being. It leads the companies to face problems in the process of making deals such as valuable partnerships with other corporations. Therefore, in the immediate future, Eat2Eat should focus on the partnership with all the Asian restaurant websites. Then, when Eat2Eat had covered enough key towns, their coverage provided from it will give them the credibility to do ventures with some banks. And then, in this way, they will get the database of customer needed to grow. 5. Provide recommendations concerning Eat2Eat's future strategy. Brigitte CISS As we could see, the company Eat2eat has a great concept which pleases a lot of consumers. The idea and the way it is implented is are good, and the only remaining issue, is the recognition. Indeed, Eat2eat has a problem being considered by ââ¬Å"seriousâ⬠companes such as banks, and trusted by businesses. Therefore, to be more recognized, the company needs to have contacts with big websites such as Yahoo! or Google, to be more available on the Internet, to increase the awareness and the knowledge of people. As the case said, also, Eat2eat has to be in a relationship with credit card companies to facilitate the online payment, and to create joint ventures with such companies. To increase the recognition, the company has to broaden its services to big cities, outside of Asia. Why not ? There are no infrastructures to take care of since it is an online operation, and it might be well known internationally. We would also recommend to the CEO to hire people specially for public relations.Going to every potential partner himself is a long process, and the opportunity cost is quite hi gh, with the amount of time lost. With more people available, the company could bring to her much more clients. After creating a more efficient network, maybe Eat2eat. com should now spend a bit on advertising. A quick ad on the Internet, not for businesses but directly destined to end consumers who are looking for restaurants, would increase the awareness and therefore the profits. On the long run, the company could even try to advertise on television.

Robert Frost s The Mountain Essay - 1581 Words
Robert Frost one of the greatest American poets, was a bridge between man and reality, whether it be cruel or pleasant, always connecting the two in some essence through his poetry, utilizing a conversation style, reinforcing his admiration of conversation presenting his portrayed beliefs more conflicted than one shall expect. He depicts a common theme and style within his poems, specifically the The Mountain which is a contrast between young and old, when a young visitor comes to a village and is astonished at an old man s lack of curiosity about the mountain that stands at its edge, and ââ¬Å"An Old Manââ¬â¢s Winter Nightâ⬠a poem about an old manââ¬â¢s loss of memory, having no recollection of his purpose or identity. Not only is the old man isolated in body, he is isolated in mind where the memories of past happiness cannot comfort him. In The Mountainâ⬠Frost speaks from the perspective of the younger voice in the conversation, creating a contrast between the young and the old .Beginning with an encounter between a young fellow who is going by a town and is charmed by an enormous mountain with a village at its base and a farmer, an older man who has lived there all his life. Mentally Ill Prisons And The Death Sentence - 2084 Words
Mentally Ill Prisons and the Death Sentence Criminals with mental disorders should be held accountable for their actions and receive adequate punishment up to and including the death penalty. If theyââ¬â¢re well enough to commit the crime that someone without a mental disorder can commit they should get the same punishment. Inmates with mental disorders are more likely to disrupt day to day prison activity, leading to needing more and more prison guards to keep the order. An estimated 283,000 prisoners are spared from death row because of a mental disorder. With that information it isnââ¬â¢t hard to believe that there is a big problem with overcrowding and over population. Not every single inmate is being cared for properly or getting the rightâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦It worsens their sickness. This also entails that more people will be out in mainstream prison, meaning more that the prison guards have to deal with. Theyââ¬â¢re probably going to have to add more cells in prison and hire more guards to keep the p risoners in line. There are thousands on top of thousands of crimes committed by the mentally ill, and nowadays pleading guilty is seen as a loop hole or a way to shorten your sentence and make the jury feel bad for the defendant. Take Jane Toppan for example. A nurse at a private practice, she racked up dozens of victims between 1885 and 1901. She would experiment different medicine and different dosages to patients. When they were about die she got into bed with them and held them close, feeling their lives slip from them. She got sexual satisfaction out of this, so she pled guilty by reason of insanity. The Real Country Way of Doing Things Free Essays
The short story how I learnt to be a Real Countrywoman is written by Deborah Mocha in England 1995. It is told by a first person narrator, and it is told In flashback. The short story deals with a modern housewife, who is moved from London to a little town long away from London. We will write a custom essay sample on The Real Country Way of Doing Things or any similar topic only for you Order Now They moved on the country because her husband Edwin got fired, when the school he taught on was dissolved. Another quite Important reason for moving was that the government was brutish and philistine, and London was full of fumes and pollution, so Edwin said they should move. But the point In the story starts after they were moved In to the country. They are slating In the kitchen and were opening Christmas cards. Edwin opened the last one, It was a brown envelope, and It contains a letter from their local council. They wrote that they were going to build a two-lane dual carriageway through their local wood. The local Inhabitant were going to campaign against the ring road, but the only alternative was through their member of parliaments daughters rolling school, so It was not a possibility. But the narrator will not let all this spoil her loving wood. So she starts to plant preserved and rarely plants to the wood. She doesnââ¬â¢t tell anybody about this, even not Edwin. In the end the wood got designated as a site of Outstanding Scientific Interest. So the ring road is built through the riding school instead of through the wood. The narrator has a quite complicated relationship whit her husband, Edwin. In the start of the text the nearly even speak to each other, and they heaven had sex for the last two years. They are very different; the narrator is a modern housewife, who likes being in the city, shopping and being at cocktail parties. And Edwin is more a country man; he likes the nature, the peace and fresh air. In the first time since they have moved to the country the narrator misses her busy life in London very much. The narrator thinks it is boring living in the country, and she has a very debilitate attitude of the new lifestyle, she speaks also bad about it. They have total different values. The narrator likes the stores right around the corner, her friends and shopping. Edwin is more shut in, and he emphasizes a calm family life and nature. In the beginning of this short story they were opposites and their preferences made them divided, but in the end they get interested in one other and reunite and started speaking with each other. The narrator feels very alone In the country in, but when she starts saving the wood, she has something to do, and spent her time on. The gets very interested In plants, and she gets happy to have a little secret; ââ¬Å"l hadnââ¬â¢t felt so happy since I was pregnantâ⬠. All through this short story the narrator Is quite ironic and sarcastic; this makes the story a bit funny In spite of the fact that It Is a sad story for her In the beginning. The narrator entrust her to the reader, and makes the reader feel Like a friend or something Like that, because she tells her deepest feelings to us. It can make us feel quite accessory, because we know about her plans. We are also told a lot of details about the narrator and Dawdles love life, which also Is quite personal. The mall themes In this short story are marriage, family life, countryside of doing things vs.. City side and personal values. In the end the narrator starts liking nature, and get interested in the plants and trees in the local w en also Tina It quilt stimulating Tanat seen could set a goal, Ana rater all she could finally reach it and see that what she have done has made a difference. She feels finally important on the country when she saves the wood. She also enjoys all the people who come to see the new wood, and she likes that people all over comes and knock on their door and ask the way and admire their cottage. Another thing that tells us that she likes their new lifestyle is, that she is started to sell eggs. She is absorbed in this egg-sale, and we gets to know that their eggs is guaranteed almoner-free because she feeds them with her organic bread. Sometimes people even leave their children to play with the narrators children, while they walk through the field to look at the orchids. And after all this wonderful experience with the wood and all the nice people, she doesnââ¬â¢t miss Camden Town at all. Finally she decides to do teas. She is going to buy Old-style spiced buns, and throw away the packets. She has learnt a lot these past years, and she found ââ¬Å"the real country way of doing things. â⬠How to cite The Real Country Way of Doing Things, Papers

Wireless Sensor Network - Get Free Sample on Wireless Sensor Network
Question: You are an IT Director at a large urban hospital with 500 beds and 4,500 associates. You are a full-service hospital with a typical list of departments to include multiple ICUs, mother baby, emergency services, radiology, oncology, surgery, etc. You are piloting programs to allow personal mobile devices on the network under pressure from physicians and nurses to either provide the devices or allow personal ones under bring your own device (BYOD) solution. In order to protect applications and patient data, you decided to build a dedicated public wireless network for all outside devices that are not approved as standard workstations for normal hospital use and circulation. Your network will be publicly accessible and ask users to sign in and electronically sign a user acceptance agreement. Then users will be on a public network that can access the Internet and outside applications, but will not be allowed on the internal private network. You are expected to: 1. Identify all critica l elements and technologies necessary to achieve stated goals of your project. 2. Describe the resources you will require to achieve your project goals . 3. Architect, at a high level, your proposed solution and draw a diagram in a software application of your choice, typically Power Point or Visio. 4. List and describe clinical applications and/or services that will run on your proposed infrastructure. In the case of EMR, describe which services will be in the cloud and whether there are any services that will need to be hosted internally and why or why not. 5. Identify benefits and risks to business operations and patient care environment, resulting from your proposed solution. 6. Briefly describe to senior management why your solution is a good fit and how you will address the risks identified above. Answer: Introduction Wireless network is becoming more popular in the changing industrial environments. Several business industries are leaning towards the implementation of Wireless network technology in their business farms (Basu, 2014). Urban hospitals need a good network structure and sometimes for the complex network structure, they need to implement the wireless network technology. This documentation addresses several aspects of implementing the wireless network in urban hospitals existing network structure. Aspects such as critical elements and technologies required, resources required, clinical application and services provided, benefits and risks involved and justification of proposed wireless network system have been highlighted. In addition, a wireless network has been designed for the urban hospital management system which have public and private networks distinction in between them. Identification of all the critical elements and technologies to achieve stated goals To design a wireless network system over the existing network structure is not an easy task. The very first stage of implementing the wireless network structure in the hospitals existing network structure is to identify the crucial elements and the technologies that are required. This section represents the technologies required for the successful implementation of the wireless network structure in the hospitals existing network structure. Enterprising Wi-Fi access and Hotspot Guest access: the hospital management was using a simple LAN based network structure. Now the management wants to implement wireless network technology into their networking structure (Boccardi, 2014). The first and foremost criteria of implementing the wireless network technology is setting up the Wi-Fi in different positions into the existing network structure and also allow the Hotspot guest access. Designing multi-service mesh networks: Implementation of wireless network is more complex than the existing LAN network structure. To implement the wireless network technology management, have to consider redesigning their networks and it is recommended that the hospital management should use the multi-service mesh network for the implementation of wireless network (Cowley, 2012). Point to multi-point wireless: wireless network technology allows multicasting the network rather than broadcasting the network data packets. So redesigning of the network structure to implement the point to multi-point wireless technology is necessary. Description of Resources that required for designing the Wireless network at Urban Hospital There are several hardware resources, which are required for the successful implementation of the wireless network at urban hospital. The resources that are required for the implementation of Wireless network are described below. Wireless NIC: To successfully implement the wireless network into the hospitals existing network structure NIC (Network Information Card) card is required (Kish, 2013). It is important to have NIC installed in each of the system to directly communicate with the wireless router. Wireless router: Wireless routers are the heart of wireless Networking structure. The wireless router serves as the central hub of multicasting the network data packets to several points. The wireless hubs are now-a-days served as wireless routers. Hubs are actually gateways, not routers but they do serve the purpose. to implement the wireless networking structure in the hospitals existing network it installation of wireless hubs or routers are important. Strong internet connection: Last but not the least it is necessary to have a good internet connection while thinking about implementing the wireless network in the hospitals existing network structure. Design of Wireless network for Urban Hospital Figure 1: Wireless Network of Urban hospital (Source: Created by author) Description of clinical applications that will run on the proposed Wireless network With the implementation of wireless network, the company is thinking to bring changes in the hospitals operational functionalities. The new systems that will be implemented with the implementation of wireless network technology are described below. Computerized Physician Order Entry: With the help of CPOE (computerized Physician Order Entry) system, the practitioners will be able to enter orders electronically rather than handwritten or by verbal instructions. Electronic Prescribing: With the successful implementation of wireless network system in the hospitals existing network structure the management will also implement electronic prescribing which allows doctors check patients record and helps in suggesting the medicine based on the patients previous prescription and health condition (Liang, 2015). Electronic Health Records: electronic Health Records (EHRs) provide electronic documents about the patients interaction with the doctors. EHRs system can be integrated with the hospitals departmental clinic system with the successful implementation of Wireless Network in the hospitals existing network. Identification of the benefits and risks involved with the proposed system The hospital management wants to implement the wireless network technology into their existing network. The benefits and risks are described below. Benefits of Wireless Network technology: Increased Efficiency: With the installation of wireless network technology improved data communication and faster transfer of information within the organization can be achieved. Management can remotely check the system. Better Coverage: As there is no need for the cables and adapters user can use the facility of the hospital network while on the go. A better coverage can also be achieved with the successful implementation of Wireless Technology in the hospitals existing network structure. Neat and Easy Installation: since there is no cable and adapters running here and there so the setup of Wireless network technology is neat and clean (Othman, 212). Risks involved with Wireless technology: Lower bandwidth speed: It is not possible to get as much speed as users normally get with Ethernet cables. Although the situation is currently changing and current UTP cables can reach up to 1Gbps of speed still comparatively lower speed than Ethernet cables (Marsch, 2013). Security Issues: Wireless networks are the weakest in terms of security and privacy protection. While implementing Wireless technology into the hospitals existing network infrastructure management should aware about developing new security policies for wireless network. Installation problems: Sometimes installation of Wireless network can cause some problems like interference if nearby other buildings also use wireless network. While implementing the wireless technology hospital management should keep these things in mind. Justification of proposed Wireless Network System Wireless technology in Internet world is becoming more popular. This section of the documentation gives proper justification about why the management should implement wireless technology over the existing network infrastructure present in the hospital. As being an Urban hospital there are number of departments present in the hospitals like emergency services, radiology, oncology, surgery and many more. It is important to maintain the communication between the departments as well as it is also important for the management to check with every department remotely form their main office. So it is suitable to have a wireless technology which will again have a public and private connection (Shazali, 2013). The hospitals stuff will use the private connection and will have access to the clinical applications that run on network but the visitors and outsiders like patients can also will be able to sign in to the network with their device and can use the facility of the internet but cannot acc ess the medical stuffs. After exploring all the aspects, it is recommended that hospital management should implement Wireless technology into their existing network structure for the better networking infrastructure and improved efficiency in the network. Conclusion This report explores the several sides of Wireless network implementation into an urban hospitals exiting network structure. This section of the report concludes that it is highly recommended to implement Wireless Technology into the hospitals existing business structure. An urban hospital where there are several departments and each department have number of employees working for that department, it is highly necessary to have remote communication between the departments. So it is suitable to have a wireless technology which has a wireless implementation and public and private division within the network. In addition, with the implementation of Wireless technology the management can also remotely check the departments needs and can keep an eye on every department to overall build a better hospital management system.
